All Fair Registration Profits Benefit

Disadvantaged Rural Readers

"How wonderful it is that nobody needs to wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."

- Anne Frank

Our new event host is the Pacific Northwest Literacy Alliance.  Created in 2010 by a group of authors, librarians, and publishers, goals of this non-profit include creating and fostering an artistic community of publishers, industry professionals, writers, authors, librarians, and educators who will:

  • Inspire and nurture literacy, especially in economically disadvantaged rural areas and communities.
  • Promote the work of Pacific Northwest authors.
  • Support the preservation of community libraries.

While the main focus of the literacy and outreach efforts occur in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, Western Montana, and the islands of Hawaii, PNWLA's work and efforts have no boundaries.

All profits from author registration will go toward PNWLA's literacy and library preservation efforts.
