Who Can Register for the 2012 Oregon Book and Author Fair

While the 2012 Oregon Book and Author Fair showcases the work of Northwest authors, all authors who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
  • Published authors with at least one title currently in print.
  • Traditionally published, print-on-demand, and self-published are accepted.
  • We do not accept books only available in e-book format or with primarily explicit adult-only content.
  • Creators of chapbooks or one-of-a-kind handmade titles can be approved on a case-by-case basis.
  • The fair staff reserves the right to accept or refuse author registrations.
  • Publishers may also reserve table space at The Oregon Book and Author Fair if you guarantee that your authors will definitely be on-hand throughout the day to autograph their books.  Publisher tables must be arranged with the fair staff.

How to Register for the 2012 Oregon Book and Author Fair

1. Download and print our registration and information package.

Included in the downloadable package: general information sheet, application for registration, business sponsorship information, volunteer application, and Pacific Northwest Literacy Alliance membership form (members receive a registration discount).

2. Complete the registration form (and the membership form, if you choose).

Why all of the questions?
Our staff works hard to publicize our attending authors in several types of media -- Facebook, print ads, radio spots, and television promotions (when available), and in event listings -- and the more PR information you provide the better chance you can be included in those pre-fair PR efforts.

3. Mail the completed forms with your payment (check or money order) to Pacific Northwest Literacy Alliance, P. O. Box 62, Roseburg, Oregon 97470.

You will receive an email confirmation and receipt from Pacific Northwest Literacy Alliance event staff. 

About Cancellations & Refunds for the
2012 Oregon Book and Author Fair

Due to the intense public relations work done for our attending authors, no refunds for table space will be available after October 1, 2012 even if we fill the empty seat. Cancellations must be received in writing by the organizer prior to October 1, 2012.
